Nearly a hundred companies attended YZU Job Fair on March 30 and offered ten thousand positions for the potential employees. Industries included IT, telecommunications, investment and finance companies, consumer electronics, shoe manufacturing, and housewares provide different jobs. They were: ASE Group, Compal, Hiwin Tech, Panasonic Taiwan, ASO Group, Far Eastern Group, CTBT Holding, Taishin Holding, Fubon Financial, Nitori Housewares, Nokia Telecomm, and Torrecid Group. 48 companies also offered internships for students.
President Jyh-Yang Wu (吳志揚) encouraged students to enhance their professions and proficiency in languages. YZU provides bilingual teaching courses, multi-fielded learning and multi-cultural experiences with internships of international cooperations. Some companies which attended the job fair were from China and ASEAN. Far Eastern Group offers a hundred jobs for the fair.
