元智大學資管所梁庭浩、沈和寬同學與資傳系胡家綺同學，在大數據與數位匯流創新中心潘人豪老師指導下，以提供浴室空間風險預測與及時保護的「PREtector浴警」作品，榮獲經濟部通訊產業發展推動小組舉辦「2016通訊大賽－智慧城市應用服務設計競賽」佳作獎，以及遠傳專題獎。
團隊成員潘人豪表示，「PREtector」希望能夠有效減輕醫療與照護單位在醫院內的意外風險，並進一步將目標由機構內的高齡照護環境，延伸到個人居家環境以及服務業場域中，提升所有民眾在使用浴廁時，能獲得更佳的安全防護。
YZU Bathroom Safety Detector wins Mobileheroes Award
PREtector, a bathroom safety detector reducing the elderly’s risk of falling in the bathroom, is the awarded work developed by two graduates of Information Management and one undergraduate of Infomation Communication. Mr. Ren-Hao Pan (潘人豪), Associate Professor of Innovation Center for Big Data and Digital Convergence, instructs Ting-Hao Liang(梁庭浩), Ho-Kuan Shen (沈和寬) and Chia-Chi Hu (胡家綺) in this project. The team wins the Honorable Mention and the Feature Far Eastern Group Award in 2016 IT City Application and Service Design Contest with total 140 thousand dollars and gifts. The app detects the falling risk for the elderly in the bathroom and sends the warning to the equipment.
Mr. Pan says the team wishes to the elderly’s risk of falling in the bathroom located in hospitals, care centers, and residence. Moreover, the detector may prevent people at all ages from fall-related injuries in the bathroom. #
