To promote “green living”, Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan initiated the Green Mark system in 1992. The government took the lead in green procurement in 2002. In 2007, the government went further and introduced Benchmark Unit of Private Enterprise and Organization Green Procurement Plan. Business entities may report the procurement of products with Green Mark. As the leader of circular economy, FENC is second to none in its efforts on green procurement. Since 2016, FENC has been reporting actual figures on green procurement from the previous year, and the Company has accumulated over NT$12.5 billion as of the end of 2021, putting it in the top 3 among corporations in Taiwan. | FET | Besides encouraging foreign companies to establish offices in Taiwan to promote local economic development, FET is also committed to supporting the local industry. If we deduct the orders from overseas companies and foreign brands, then in 2021 a total of 99.73% of FET's procurement was made with local companies⁹ in Taiwan. In addition, to support FET's "Environmental and Social Friendly Program" and to promote a green supply chain, FET encourages suppliers of all types andtheir respective supply chains to refer to the green procurement regulations during procurement. When the Procurement Department considers procurement bids, it also consults the Energy Saving Team for energy efficiency assessment, and includes energy-saving specifications as an open bid item. Monitoring mechanism is also established for all orders. In 2021, FET increase the amount of green procurement while expanding 5G construction. When conducting procurement, we take purchase of goods with environmental labels and certificates as the first priority. BigCity responds to domestic and foreign green environmental protection and carbon reduction initiatives, upholds the spirit of local procurement, continues to develop local suppliers through procurement management procedures, and reduces excessive carbon emissions caused by long-distance transportation. In addition, BigCity listed environment-friendly certification as one of the supplier selection evaluation criteria, gave priority to purchasing green products and services, and drove suppliers to provide environment-friendly products and services. Green procurement projects include the use of Epoxy floor coatings with the green building materials label in the parking lot, the supply of paper sources for products such as shopping bags, napkins, placemats, and chopstick sets from manufacturers certified by FSC-COC Forest Chain of Custody, and the 100% of the refitting works used energy-saving and water-label lightings and bathroom equipment, electric vehicles are used for parking lot inspections, and 100% use of toilet paper and paper towels with environmental protection labels. In 2021, BigCity's green procurement amount was about NT$10.91 million dollars, and the cumulative amount was about NT$36.81 million dollars in 2018-2021. It was also recognized by the Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau for three consecutive years from 2018 for outstanding unit of green procurement in private business and group category. | OUCC | OUCC’s practice in green consumption start s f rom its procurement, which specifies the equipment procurement standards with priority over products with energy-saving and water-saving labels or other eco-friendly labels which are approved by the government. For example, the energy efficiency of electrical motors must comply with CNS14400 IE3. Green procurement ensures that the goals of power-saving, watersaving and a reduction of energy consumption are promoted. The 2021 procurement list shows the cost of the motors and equipment that complied with IE3 specifications reached NT$7.94 million; green procurement ratio in the equipment category was 1.55%. |

| Everest | Everest Textile continues to promote green procurement to influence suppliers and encourage suppliers to transform into a green enterprise model. FEDS supports green procurement. We prefer to opt green products that are lowpollution, energy-saving and environmentally friendly. Through actual green purchasing actions, it is possible to create an environmentally friendly department store. FEDS has won the "Outstanding green procurement enterprise" issued by the New Taipei City government for five consecutive years. In 2021, green procurement items grew by 53%, purchasing amount increased by 1.04 times, and green procurement rate accounted for 99.3%. In August 2021, FEDS launched 32 green office measures based on the five major indicators of "energy resource saving", "source reduction", "green procurement", "environment greening" and "advocacy".
